There is no “we” in MicroISV

August 29th 2007

You will have heard the phrase “There is no I in team” I’m sure. The opposite is true of a MicroISV - “There is no we in MicroISV” and the people running a successful one should be proud of themselves.

Ian Landsman keeps an excellent blog of his MicroISV and I think he hits the nail on the head in his recent post found here that they should be a one man band. If www.plentyoffish.com can be managed by one man and generate over a million dollars in revenue per month from google ads alone, it shows that success and size are not the same thing.

True we all would love that kind of success, even that of 37signals would be amazing. I on the other hand would be perfectly happy with the same degree of success that Ian has had. To be profitable out of something you create yourself is what I call amazing.
